Reiko-san / Gratitude and Daily Journal
Reiko-san's Moolelo (Story):
A student of the “art of GEISHA” all of her life, Reiko-san became one of Japan’s
most famous KUBUKI Theatre artists in Japan. However, she always wanted to
study acting in the US. So, she saved her money and, even against her parent’s
wishes, she left the traditional women’s role in Japan and took her adventure to
N.Y.C. She found her place, her career and a new life – building on the arts,
culture and love she also had for her home country in Japan. The MASKS were
removed and now, Reiko-san shines in her own light!
