Our Mission

Hopefull Handbags, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit and Global Charity organization. All contributions are tax deductible.

A little Background on Hopefull Handbags, Nonprofit, 501c3

Our mission is Raising Hope and Awareness of Domestic Violence and other Detrimental Situations

One Filled Handbag at a Time.

Hopefull Handbags, Inc is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to raising Hope one handbag at a time.

Also, raising awareness for domestic violence, and that there is help and support all over the world at no charge. By raising Hope survivors are reminded that their past does not dictate their future and anything in this life is possible.

Hopefull Handbags, Inc. 501c3 believes in collaboration over competition. That is why all HH events provide a fun, interactive setting for women to engage with their community.

Hopefull Handbags focuses on providing the knowledge, tools, and community to give Hope, Help, and Support for you to feel inspired, motivated and empowered to create a positive change in your life which affects everything and everyone around you.

Cathlene Miner started Hopefull Handbags right here in St. Augustine in 2017. Our mission is to give Hope to women getting back on their feet again due to Domestic Violence and other detrimental situations.  We do this one handbag at a time by receiving once loved donated handbags, filling them with necessities, inspirational notes and things to make women feel amazing and donating them to women getting back on their feet again.  Some of these women are staying in shelters and most with children.  The smiles and the feeling of hope are priceless.

"Never Underestimate the Power of Hope".

The Handbags Full of Hope is only part of it. For Hopefull Handbags, it is also about raising awareness that Domestic Violence is real.  It happens in all socioeconomic backgrounds as with other detrimental situations some women may find themselves in.

Another part of our mission is raising awareness around the world that there is Help, Hope and Support all over for free.  The more people we can spread the word to we potentially reach the very women that need to be connected to safety. Maybe they just start with a mention to a friend and that friend directing them to us or an organization that can guide them and their children to safety. Men are also survivors of Domestic Violence and the Detrimental Situations sometimes and they are given the same services if needed.

Hopefull Handbags has spread to multiple states in the US, the Caribbean and other countries are beginning Hopefull Handbags.

All donations that are donated stay in the community that it is donated in.  We also work directly with the shelter and women to assure that our Hopefull Handbags get in the hands of the ladies that we are donating them to.

We also have events catered to the women, teens, and children to nurture a healthy Self Perception and Confidence. Domestic Violence also adversely affects the children too and it is our hope that with these donations, domestic violence survivors feel supported, full of hope, and have the necessities they need to facilitate a fresh start.

Cathlene's Why Behind

Hopefull Handgbags

Cathlene Miner is the founder and president of Hopefull Handbags, Inc.  an author, international speaker and on-air personality. After seeing her grandmother live in and deal with domestic violence daily she knew at a young age that something had to change. Cathlene’s parents broke the cycle and she feels blessed to have seen first hand what healthy relationships look like.

Cathlene is dedicated to spreading the message of hope and raising awareness that Domestic Violence is NOT OK and that there is help and support globally.

It is time to change the patterns so that Domestic Violence is stopped. Hopefull Handbags, Inc. assists communities globally in this vision through partnerships, sponsors, local advocates, and support from businesses worldwide.
